How To Choose The Right Blog Topic

Once upon a time, I had no idea what to write on my blog. Coming up with blog article titles was slow and painful. I had written one day on finace and next day i was thing i should write on diffrent topic. So i was totally confused in blog topic.

Every author faces a writer’s block some or the other time in their life. It completely stops their brain from thinking. Most of the times it is after they have written a bit about the topic and they just can’t figure out what to write after that.

I am going to pull back the curtain on how I am able to generate so many topics, and explain what it means to choose great article topics. I think you’ll find it helpful.

1) Know your target audience

Everything comes down to your audience. In fact, there is nothing more important, essential, and critical to blog success than knowing your audience.

Every blog has a type of audience that they target. Try to understand what kind of an audience your blog wants to target and accordingly think of the topic. Since the blog is about satisfying these readers, try and find something that they will be interested in.

One of the best ways to get to know your audience is to define that audience. If you’re just starting as a business, you get to decide who it is you want to reach and how to reach them. You can do this by taking surveys or just asking people in your target audience. Find out what they want to read about and then write about it.

 2. Find a blog to steal from

If you want to pick absolutely stellar topics, then go to the blogs that are already doing it and pilfer them. I absolutely oppose anything remotely connected with stealing content or intellectual property. What I do suggest, however, is to identify a blog hat is doing it right, and follow their ideas of headlines, writting style, content and you can do better then other in title, content and style.

Make a list of five blogs that you admire. They can be in your niche or completely outside of it. Write down their article headlines, and repurpose them based on your own niche and audience.

The important thing to remember here is that you can steal the title, but not the content. Duplicate content not only ranks your page lower but also reduces your readership. The trick is to steal their headline and write better content. Make your post funnier, more informative and easier to read.

3. Use Helpful Blog Tools

The use of some helpful tools can help you generate a lot of blog topics. You can use BuzzSumo for identifying trending topics. It serves as a place where marketers can discover to find out what content is popular by topic or on any website. It can take hours scanning all the various social sites to find out what people are talking about and what their concerns and needs are.

There are another tool like Google ads for vistor search, SEMrush lets you scan through URLs and look at the keywords used by that particular page. So you search for something related to your niche and select the top result’s URL. Paste this URL on these tools which will give you the list of keywords that you can possibly use for your next article. You could also approach some of the best websites to get your content written by professionals.

4. Choose Topic By Most Passionate

This is the first big decision where everything can go wrong. Choose topics that you are really passionate about. Don’t pick a subject just because you see others make money writing about it.

The moment you choose a topic that is close to your heart, content is bound to flow out like a river. Researching on these topics will also be easy. It will also keep you determined to finish the article.

I suggest you narrow down your topic list and then start writing. If you have no trouble producing one new post a day, then do it for two months and see whether people like your work.

5. Keep Your Content Relevant and Real

Bloggers who wish to keep their blog relevant for long periods of time must get familiar with evergreen content. Often blogs upload anything as long as its related to their blog. They don’t take into consideration if it is relevant for their readers or not.

A good mix of current and evergreen content can help bloggers maintain consistency with their blogs. Some topics like How To guides, tools lists and basic tips are perfect for evergreen content. However, depending on each topic, they might have to be updated from time to time. This kind of content is referred to as sustainable content.

There are unlimited options for the things that you can write about related to your blog. You just need to calm down and think with a clear mind. As a last resort, you could always search for topics to write about. A few essay services can you help you with this.

Take your time and try to think of something that might help your readers or give them some actual knowledge. All the Best…….
